Yes, most of the exposed timber is hemlock. <br /><br />That straightedge is a piece aluminum channel I bought from a metal shop to use for a cutting edge. I bought a 20' piece and had it cut down to 12', 4', and 2' lengths. Very handy.<br /><br />I hope everything is good with you.
